With the launch of online dating apps, the dating game has changed a lot. These apps have made things a little easier for us. But describing yourself in just a few words isn’t easy, is it? So to keep your dating game on point, here’s a list of 7 things that you should never put on your dating profile.
1.A fake weight, height, or age
Let’s be clear about this: just because it’s online, that doesn’t mean that you can lie through your teeth. Even if it’s a minor thing (such as you’re 29 in the profile, but actually you’re 33), it’s not a good thing to do. After all, you don’t want to be lied to, do you?
2. Number of children you want
Getting a bit ahead of ourselves, aren’t we? Meet the guy before you make any decisions about your future. But please, don’t mention “furry babies.” Just don’t!
3. A rant about why hate dating apps
It makes you look a little hypocritical. I mean, don’t bite the hand that feeds you, right?
4. Your address, Full name, and place of work
Remember, your information is being read by total strangers. Rule of thumb: if you wouldn’t put it on a billboard, don’t put it in your profile.
5. Only selfies
It makes you look like a narcissist or a loner who doesn’t have any friends. Put up some pictures of you that others have taken.
6. Only emojis to describe yourself
Are you a Red Hot Chilli Peppers fan, or do you just like spicy food? Don’t leave things open for interpretation.
7. Cropped picture of you and your ex
It’s time to move on! Also, it’ll be super awkward when your ex or his friend stumbles onto your profile. (And trust us, they will!)
