Facial hair is a tricky thing to deal with. You might want to avoid the pain of waxing and threading or maybe you just don’t have the time to visit the salon. However that unibrow keeps threatening to make a comeback, and let’s not forget about your mustache!
Worry not! Here’re a few ways you can painlessly get rid of your facial hair by using ingredients from your very own kitchen.
1. Banana oatmeal scrub
Banana and oatmeal are natural cleansers. Mash a banana in a bowl until it’s a paste. Add two tablespoons of oatmeal, and rub the mixture on your peach fuzz for about 15-20 minutes. Massage it in circular motions, and rinse off the paste with water. Repeat this process twice a week.
2. Chickpea flour mask
Take half a cup of chickpea flour, add one teaspoon of turmeric powder, fresh cream, and half a cup of milk. Apply this paste over the affected area, and let it dry for 20-30 minutes. Gently rub in the opposite direction of the hair growth and rinse it off with lukewarm water. For best results, use it twice a week.
3. Cornflour and egg mask
In a bowl, make a thick paste by mixing one teaspoon of sugar, one and a half teaspoons of cornflour, and one egg. Apply it to the affected areas, and let it dry. Cornflour has the ability to pull hair from its roots, so peel the mask off slowly, and carefully. Repeat this process twice a week.
4. Papaya and turmeric mask
To make a paste, mix 2 tablespoons of papaya paste, half a teaspoon of turmeric powder and three tablespoons of aloe vera gel. Apply it on the affected areas, and leave it for 20 minutes (or until it’s dry). Scrub it off by rubbing in the opposite direction of hair growth.
5. Honey lemon mask
Lemon is a natural bleacher. So mix the juice of an entire lemon with one tablespoon of honey, and form a paste. Apply it to the unwanted hair growth, and leave it on for 20-25 minutes. Lemon will lighten the unwanted hair, while honey will help remove it from its follicle.
